Hello board members!
I’d like to have a rough idea of what articles and updates to include in our upcoming newsletter. Here is what I am looking for. Volunteers will be very much appreciated (and perhaps rewarded at the meeting ;]).
1) President’s message (unfortunately only one person can do this)
2) A concise explanation of the new groups we are now available of as ILLA members (and what that means).
3) A “So, what do you do?” article similar to what Terry did last time.
4 – 6) Something exciting happening in education in your area. If you didn’t feel up to writing this, I could do it, if you give me the particulars. This could be:
- A new way you are (or someone else is) integrating technology in a class
- A student success story
- A profile of an educator that has recently done something exceptional
- A new community education class
- Anything else you are currently excited about
Please take a few minutes and see if you can devote an hour or two to the newsletter. If there is something you want to do, let us all know in a “reply all.” Again, I will bring a deliciously sweet reward to those who volunteer! Thanks in advance!
